Dublin, Calif. – On October 9, the McNerney for Congress campaign released a list of over 100 local veterans who are endorsing Congressman Jerry McNerney’s reelection. The 118 veteran endorsers represent a broad spectrum of support, encompassing all areas of the 11th District and branches of service.
“I am honored that so many who have chosen to wear the uniform and serve our nation are supporting me,” Jerry McNerney said. “I will never forget the sacrifices our military men and women make and I will always fight to ensure that America’s veterans receive the benefits they’ve earned through their service.”

Today’s list of endorsers comes on the heels of an endorsement from a number of prominent, local veterans in August. That group included Dave Norris, a Tracy resident and the past State Commander of the California Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Additionally, on October 9, Congressman McNerney will join local veterans as they call undecided veterans throughout San Joaquin County in the campaign’s first veteran-to-veteran phone bank. It will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. tonight, October 9, at the campaign’s Stockton headquarters, located at 5635 Stratford Circle, Suite A-1.
